Proverbs 4: 7 "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." 

 Earnings normally mean the money we earn by working or making a career. We know this very well. But Scripture tells us that we must earn wisdom for sure. 

 Why we must earn wisdom?  

  1 Corinthians 1:32  says, Jesus Christ is wisdom given to us by God. Christ is the wisdom for us. Therefore we cannot have a life without that wisdom who is Christ Jesus. 

  Ephesians 1:17  says, we need wisdom to know the Heavenly Father. This human knowledge is not enough for us to know God. We need a divine wisdom that the Lord gives us. We can receive the divine wisdom only through prayer. 

 Let us pray to attain the Lord's wisdom, then automatically, we shall know the Lord more and more. Let us have eternal life. Amen.
