"Remember Lot's wife."  (Luke 17:32).  

 In Scripture we read of men who are given as examples.  There are those who have set a good example to follow.  In the same way there are those who warn us and set a bad example that we should not follow.  At this point why does the Lord say to remember Lot's wife? 

  Her heart remained in Sodom as the Lord tried to save them.  She followed the warnings of the angels for a short distance.  Without the wholehearted obedience, she transgressed the warning, " ... looked back, and she became a pillar of salt."  (Gen. 19:26).  

When you think of walking along with the Lord, you are warned that if you stare at the world and its desires, you are sure to turn your back to the Lord. 

Matthew 24:13 "but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."  

 In Scripture, when we see such acts, we must realize that God's warning us.  May the Lord save us so that no one may meet her end.  Amen.
