"The word of the Lord is light for the path". "In the beginning there was the word, the word became flesh and gave the people true light and salvation".
The word of God is a light to the path
In the beginning there was a word, that word became flesh and gave true light and salvation to people.
The word of God is life and power. (Hebrews 4:12).
The word of the Lord becomes a lamp when it comes into man (man's spirit is a lamp given by the Lord Proverbs 20:27).
How does it work in humans?
The Spirit of God is in my nostrils (Job 27:2). God breathed the breath of life into the nostrils of the first man. The word of God has life, and that living word is powerfully manifested in man when it comes from the mouth through the nostrils. Similarly, when a person's spiritual eyes are opened, the word of God enters the heart and the heart is filled with light.
God's word redeems people, sanctifies them and gives them eternal life.
As a flower blooms when the sun shines on it, so we shine when God's Word enters us.
How God's word works in our lives. ?
1) Guide - Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
We are living in a dark and fallen world (fear, horror, failure, lack of faith, confusion, envy, wickedness) in such an environment, we can live in the light by keeping the Word of the Lord within us.
Life flourishes when there is life with the word. Darkness comes when we depart from the Word (Malachi 2:6-9).
The Word guides the things to be faced in life's journey.
Leads in dangers.
Guide us in our weaknesses, your word is joy, joy in the Lord is strength.
Leads in thy failings in the soul.
It guides in the paths of righteousness.
Leads on the path of peace.
In faith (Romans 10:17) and holiness (Psalm 119:9)
Makes the demons sentient (119:130).
(2). The Word accomplishes God's will.
Isaiah 55:10, 11
Our blessing, deliverance, grace, peace, and godliness are all in His Word.
When we pray for God's promise to us, it will not simply return to our lives.
Isaiah 40:8 - The word will stand.
Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth may pass away, but my words will not pass away.
(3) To conquer the enemy
Ephesians 6:17
Take also the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
All that is needed to overcome evil and spiritual warfare is in Jesus Christ, and through faith in Him earthly thorns can be overcome. Every passage in Scripture points to Jesus Christ because He is the living Word (Hebrews 4:12).
We conquer when we abide in the Lord and use the sword of the Spirit as His Word abides in us (John 15:7).
Jesus Christ defeated Satan in the wilderness with the word (Matthew 4:1-11).
Resist Satan with the sword of the Spirit?
I will not say no in my life.
I will no longer say I can't "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
I will not say that it is fearful "God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power and love and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
I won't say I don't have Belen. "The Lord is the strength of my life" (Psalm 27:1).
I will not say that Satan has done that and done this in my life. "For greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
I will not talk about failure. "Praise be to God who always makes us triumphant in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14).
I will not say that there is no wisdom. For Christ Jesus is my wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:31).
I will not speak unfaithfully about the disease. "By His stripes I am healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
I will not express my worries and frustrations. "I cast all my cares upon him, because he examines me" (1 Peter 5:7).
I won't say that I couldn't let go of anything. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17).
