Praise him who remembers us in our low place  (Psalm 136: 23)  

It is our God who thinks of us in our inferiority, not in our superiority.  If he had not thought of us we would have perished in our grief, in despair.  But God has not let us fall like that. When people ignored us as useless, God did not think of us as such.  So let us praise God because He remembers us even in our days of nothingness.  How many times has the Lord not allowed us to fall prey to Him while our adversary has tried to swallow us up! 

Sing to the LORD! Give praise to the LORD! He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked. '  Jeremiah 20:13.  Just like the psalmist in  35: 28  says, let us also say, "My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long." and praise God for the love that he showers on us even in our darkest days. 

We need to praise God more and more.  He has done so many good things for us to praise Him in our lives.  Praising God will remove all dissatisfaction in our lives and give us fulfillment.  What does God say about His people?  I have made this people for myself, and they will praise me & rsquo (Isaiah 43:21) .  Can the Lord look at us and say this?  Amen.
