Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests; The Son of Man has no place to bow his head (Matthew 8:20).

We cannot fully understand many spiritual things. Because of fallen human nature, many actions of the Supreme God cannot be understood. One of them is the love of God; Forgiving love is sacrificial love. How is it possible for a sinner to be loved so much by God and God? Because of this love, He, the Son of God, came down from heaven to earth.

God had to completely humble himself to accomplish salvation. Although he was in the form of God, he emptied himself and took the form of a slave, becoming in the likeness of men. He humbled Himself even to the point of death on the cross. He had to humble himself as a poor man in this world.

How do you think it is right to call ourselves Christians if this kind of love of Christ does not touch us deeply? Paul says that the love of Christ compels me and the Son of Man has no place to bow his head. This world is his. He is the creator of everything. He lived as a stranger in this world. He learned the path of humility. How are we going to respond to this love? Amen.
