"There is deep faith in the life of a Christian. That faith is a deep faith in eternity. The essence of that faith is that it is blissful. If this faith is not deeply rooted in a Christian's life, his eternity is in question".
The joy we hope for Titus 2:13 "Teach us to wait for the joy we hope for, and the glorious presence of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ."
A Christian's life is deeply rooted in faith. That faith is a deep faith in eternity. The essence of that faith is that it is blissful. If this faith is not deeply rooted in a Christian's life, his eternity is in question. If you ask why, the Holy Spirit in the life of a saved person gives deep conviction about eternity. Our abode is in heaven, and from there we await the coming of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
A Christian has his whole faith in eternity. A true Christian has a deep belief in heaven. And he is sure that this world is a rented house. Whatever he is in (sufferings, songs, sorrows, tribulations of the cross) he depends on the Lord's grace to get him through. Is there such hope? Amen.
