 ``Who is this who comes from the wilderness, dependent on his neighbor?'' The one who comes from the wilderness is Jesus Christ (Psalm 68:4). Manavati comes leaning on Nesar.

Why did they go into the wilderness?

In Hosea 2:11-15, I will destroy all her joy. God gave holy days and festivals to his people so that they could enjoy his blessings. But they started using it for entertainment and pastime. Therefore, he points out that these festivals given by God are not his but "hers" (Israel's) and they have become rituals and community gatherings.

God's people left their god Nesher and found other gods like Baal. So he says he will investigate them. Jesus Christ is taking them to investigate. The word wilderness here refers to suffering and chastisement. Here trial means punishment. It is for this reason that he takes them to the wilderness.

Yet Hosea says that the Lord said, "I will give her a warning of wrath, a promise of hope and redemption." "Therefore" in Hosea 2:6,7 indicates anger. But here God makes a wonderful difference. He shows his grace and calls the Israelites back to repentance. Just as He brought the Israelites out of Egypt and gave them their oaths in the wilderness and led them to Canaan, God wants to bring their children out of the sinful Egypt and guide them in the new wilderness, teach them and redeem them again.

In Hosea 2:14,15, this passage testifies that the Lord loves His people very much. Not the scarecrow, but the clown calls. He takes it alone. He does not speak angrily, but rather. When those who go far from the Lord are entangled in many pains and suffering, the Lord calls them back with love. He will accept back those who return. Because His grace and calling are unchangeable (Romans 11:28-29). It is those who refuse to return and turn away from speaking falsely that will perish. This verse tells us that those who have turned away from the Lord will receive His discipline and return to Him.

'I raised you up under the kichili tree; There thy mother bore thee;; She who gave birth to you there was in agony and gave birth to you.;” I raised you up under the sycamore tree, which means the sycamore tree is abundant in the land of Israel. This fruit specifically refers to the nation of Israel. They say; My beloved! Your mother bore you in Israel. That is, Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem and brought to Jerusalem. It refers to the land of Israel where the chichili tree grows abundantly.

'She who bore you bore you in agony.' As we know the birth of Jesus Christ, he was laid in a manger without a place in the inn. This verse says that your mother received it with pain in poetic style.
