Song of Song 5:15

"His feet are like pillars of white stone standing on green foundations; His form is as beautiful as Lebanon and as cedars.”

This verse tells us that Jesus Christ is walking in the midst of the congregation, and that Christ is excelling in the glory of Christ.

"His feet are like pillars of white stone, standing on golden foundations" The green describes Christ standing in the midst of the church as the golden lamp Rev 1:12,13. , Revelation 2:1. Christ is depicted walking in the midst of the gilded lamps of the Church, his feet resting on the golden pillars.

And in a spiritual way, Jesus Christ went from village to town and preached the gospel of the kingdom (Luke 8:1). So many people today have come from darkness to light. His feet walked on this earth and created a new path of love, peace, mercy, forgiveness, salvation and grace for mankind. As Job said, let us follow his footsteps and keep his law without turning away (Job 23:11).

'His form is as beautiful as Lebanon and as cedars' In fact when the Song of Solomon was written Lebanon was the northern border of Israel and part of the Promised Land. (Deuteronomy 11:24, Joshua 1:4). Although Lebanon was part of Solomon's dominions during Solomon's reign (2 Chronicles 8:6), King Eram ruled there and provided cedar trees for the construction of Solomon's great temple. (1 Kings 5:10).

Isaiah 35 : 2 speaks of the 'glory of Lebanon', and in Isaiah 60 : 13 the Lord declares that the 'glory of Lebanon' will come to you. The Bible says that Lebanon is a place full of glory. Solomon brought cedar trees from Lebanon to build the Lord's temple. Jesus Christ is seen as full of glory.

Do you feel the glory of Jesus Christ?
