Song of Song 5:13

"His cheeks are like cotton-cloths and fragrant flowers; His lips are like lilies, and fragrant nectar flows from them.”

This verse reveals the holy sermon of Jesus Christ, the holy word born from his lips and the word full of grace.

They prepare scented ointments with kandavarkas. In Yad 30 : 34 -, it is said that Kandavarkam is pure white powder, Kungilium and Alban Resin. The cheeks of Jesus Christ are compared to the perfumed brimstone; It can be seen in Yad 30: 35,36 that the Lord commanded that holy ointment should be made with these kanda classes. It represents the holy presence of Jesus Christ. We find peace in the presence of His face. (Numbers 6:26). Likewise, the grace of God is present to save all men (Titus 2:11).

The verse mentions that the cheeks of Jesus Christ are like fragrant flowers. They are always pleasing to the eye, pleasing to the mind and fragrant. Likewise, the presence of Jesus Christ gives us a unity, a mental joy, holiness, and peace to humanity.

'His lips are like lilies, and fragrant nectar flows from them.' In general, the lily flower symbolizes beauty, purity, transformation and rebirth. And the lips of Jesus Christ are compared to the lily. This passage refers to the living word that comes from the mouth of Jesus Christ. In Exodus 30:23-29 whiteness represents holiness. As it is spoken in poetic style, it is said that from the lips of Jesus Christ the perfumed whiteness of holiness emanates from it. And in Psalm 45:2, it says that grace pours forth from your lips.

Beloved ones! The cheeks and lips of Jesus Christ express holiness. In 1 Peter 1:16 it is written, "Be ye also holy, because I am holy." This verse indicates that He is completely holy, as it says.

Do you desire His holiness?
