Song of Song 3:8

'All these have drawn swords and are accustomed to war; His sword is at his waist for fear of the night."

We have seen in the previous verse about those who are mentioned in this verse as all these. They represent the full army of God. This army means that when he is king, the army of war will be with him. When he is the bridegroom, the bridegroom's companions are with him.

The sword here is the spiritual sword, representing the word of God (Eph 6:17), and is said to be sharper than a two-edged sword. (Eph 6 : 17, Eph 4 : 12). All the hosts of Christ hold in their hands. It signifies that they retain this charter and adhere to it firmly. This act shows God's army as a mighty army. The army that comes with him will catch Satan the Antichrist and bind him for 1000 years. All of them wield swords and are accustomed to war. This is the army that comes with Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:14,19 tells about this gathering of the army. They are the victorious army of Satan's tricks.

His sword is at his waist for fear of the night. In 2 Sam 20:8 we can see the sword of the army hanging in half. There is a sword in the middle of the army that seizes and binds Satan, who gives terror to the world.

Beloved ones! We who live today have also been given the sword of the Spirit to overcome Satan. We will become an army that overcomes Satan with the sword of the Spirit mentioned in Ephesians 6:11-17.
