Song of Song 2:8

The Secret Coming of Jesus Christ

'This is the voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes leaping over the mountains and leaping over the hills.”

This verse refers to the secret coming of Jesus Christ. "The sound of my beloved" refers to the sound of the trumpet. In 1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17, we see that Jesus Christ is coming down from heaven, but not to the earth, but in the middle of the sky, and in this verse we see that he first takes the dead and then the living church in the sky.

The secret coming means that when Christ comes from heaven into mid-air, those who are in Christ among the people of this world will be transfigured, taken up, meet Christ, and reach the abodes that Christ has prepared. (1 Thess 4 : 14-17, 1 Cor 15 : 51-53, John 14 : 2-3). Until then those who have died in Christ will also be taken. At that time those who are alive will be taken as brides in Christ. Others will be abandoned. There is evidence of this in the scriptures.

 1) Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24) 2) Elijah (2 Kings 2:11)

"He leaps over mountains and leaps over hills." - This word refers to the beauty of Jesus Christ coming from Mount Zion in heaven to take his beloved church. This can be clearly understood when we see in the next verse (Your 2:9).

Beloved ones! Let us prepare for the Lord's secret visit. At the same time, what are we going to do to the people who do not know the message of the Lord's first coming, that is, that Jesus Christ was born and died for us? Come forward to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us think and act.

Are you looking forward to the secret coming of Jesus Christ?
