Song of Song 1:7

My soul mate! Where do you feed your flock and fold them at midday? Tell me; Shall I be like a heron wandering among the flocks of thy companions?”

The congregation looked at Jesus Christ and said, 'My soul's friend!' It is a thing that says to Jesus, the bridegroom who truly loved us and gave himself on the cross. We see that Jesus Christ is the "good shepherd" in John 10:14, Psalm 23:1-2.

The shepherd has the flock. In answer to the question of this verse, 'Where do you feed your flock?' What grass does Christ's flock graze on? The church is the flock that shepherds the truth spoken of in Psalm 37:3.

The saved Gentile asks Jesus, My dear friend, where do you fold your flock, the church, in the midst of it? Tell me; The answer to this is Psalm 23:2, He leads me beside the waters. The verse mentions that. Midday means intense sun. It refers to a difficult situation. How one shepherds and leads the flock in such a situation. In Isaiah 25:4 it is said that he is a shadow of the sun. I mean, songs are for everyone. It should be done daily. In this verse, sun or mid-heat can be referred to as songs of this world. Only those who wander in the sun know the beauty of the shade. In the same way, it is only for the simple people who suffer because of the evil deeds of the cruel people that God's love is "strength ... strength ... refuge ... shade..." (Isaiah 25: 4) and can understand and taste that God's love guides them from their suffering.

'Should I be like a heron wandering near your companion's flocks?' Companion refers to Old Testament saints. If we are to understand this, it is in John 3:29 that John refers to himself as the companion of Jesus Christ (the bridegroom). That is, the saints who were before the death of Jesus Christ on the cross were the companions of Jesus. The Israelites still do not know Jesus. Even after he was born and ministered in Israel, they could not recognize him. Even today there are many Christians who are unable to grow in the knowledge of the truth and the knowledge of Christ. Now the question that arises for the church is, should we be like the Israelites who cannot find you? That is, should religion wander like a star? They put forward the question that. This question reveals our love for Jesus Christ and our desire to know him somehow.

Faith comes by questioning, questioning comes by the word of God (Romans 10:17), do you have such a question?
