Song of Song 1:17

'The doorposts of our house are cedars, and our cedars are cedars.'

Because Christ dwells in us, we, the house of God, are His royal majesty and His mighty bride.

This verse is sung by the church and Christ together. Because it is said to be of our house. In the Old Testament, the house of the Lord is referred to by the prophet (Haggai 1:2-5). Today in the New Testament the scriptures tell us that our body is the temple where God dwells. 1 Corinthians 3:17 'You yourselves are the temple'. Our house also means our body. Thus, because Christ dwells in us, the church as a spiritual wife is seen as royal and strong.

Here we are told of two trees to show the splendor of God's temple and to realize its steadfastness. Solomon used especially cedar and cedar wood to build the church (1 Kings 5:10). The seals of the church were made of cedar wood. (1 Kings 6:9, 15) Cedar trees and fir trees represent strength and royalty. The Deodar tree represents the regalness of the home, which is the body of Manavati, adorned with precious spiritual pearls and Navaratnams, and the Cedar tree represents the regal strength.

Have you felt within you the kingship and kingly power of Jesus Christ?Reference Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 2:8,9, Psalm 92:12, 13, 1 Timothy 3:15, Hebrews 1:10, Psalm 23:6, Ephesians 2:19-22
