Song of Song 1:13

"My Nesser gave me a white pearl that rested between my breasts."

This verse refers to Jesus Christ dwelling in our hearts. (Eph 3:17). The congregation expresses the joy Christians experience in Jesus Christ and the strong love and affection Christians have for Him. Hence the congregation calls him 'beloved to me'.

Villipolam is a fragrant tree, its branches and flowers are taken and used as garlands. (To understand him easily, we can take the sandalwood tree in our town. It gives fragrance. Let's use it as a sandalwood garland. Sandalwood and sandalwood are not the same. It is said for understanding.) Jesus Christ is like sweet-smelling white sandalwood to his church. It gives joy and vitality and makes him acceptable. And in Psalm 45:8, it is said that Christ's garment was white. It represents the fragrance of the divine grace of Jesus Christ. He is perfect in this. This makes him invaluable to the congregation.

Usually the white collar hangs from the neck to the chest. Basically in the scriptures the fragrance of Christ must emanate from the heart of the church, because Jesus Christ dwells in the hearts of His people. (Eph 3 : 17), (Cor 4 : 6, 7). By faith Christ dwells in us, so that we receive protection from suffering, temptation, and peace. Jesus Christ dwells in the heart of the church and gives fragrance. This is what the congregation is saying, there is no dirt, no stench, no ugliness in my heart. I always smell of Christ. This verse indicates that Jesus Christ is the perfumer from our hearts.

Do you have the fragrance of Christ in you?
