Song of Song 1:12

"As long as the king is in his court, my salve will spread its fragrance.”

This verse is a paraphrase of Psalm 23:5.

The king is in his company.” The king refers to Jesus Christ. 'Bandilirukukuntanayum' shows a high level of unity. This song expresses the unity between Jesus Christ and the church. It also represents the recognition Jesus Christ gives to His bride, the Church. Christ sees the beauty of His people by allowing them to sit on His throne with Him. If we give a feast to someone, it means that we accept him with complete love and that we have a good union with him. We do not invite everyone and give a feast. Likewise, do all believers receive this blessing? No. In Revelation 3:20 - He comes and sits down with those who truly give Jesus a place in his heart.

The church today has the great privilege of sitting in communion with Jesus. Psalm 23 : 5 - Thou preparest a banquet for me, and anoints my head with oil; My vessel is overflowing. And in the churches, the time of the Lord's adoration is a very noble time (1 Cor 10: 16). If it is just a ritual in your life then it is of no use. Every time you attend the Lord's Supper, do you think of Jesus' death on the cross and give thanks from the bottom of your heart?

And the spiritual meaning given in the word of God is to do God's will. (John 4:34). Jesus Christ says;; He says that my food is to fulfill the Father's will. Today, we who have joined his band; Let us strive to complete the will of God.

My balsam will give off its fragrance. Balsam oil is related to oil. Psalm 23 : 5 - In 'Thou preparest a banquet for me, and anoints my head with oil; My vessel is overflowing.” That is what the scriptures say. So what does the council say; They say that my anointing, holiness overflows with fragrance when I am with Christ. When we are united with Him, we become fragrant and useful to others and proclaim the love of Christ. If we remember Jesus Christ's death on the cross, receive forgiveness of sins and join him in fellowship with the Lord, we will be fragrant with the King.

Is your life fragrant with Jesus Christ?
