Ye must be born again (John 3:7).

Is rebirth that important? Yes! This is very important and necessary. Because the scriptures clearly teach that one cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless one is born again. Is one from a Christian family? Have a Christian name? Raised in a Christian tradition? It is not necessary. All that matters is whether one is born again.

There are two things in rebirth. When we say birth, it is a completely new thing. Not to whitewash the old. The second person is a new man if he is born again. All the old things are gone. He will be a new creature born of the Spirit.

How can I know if I am born again? It is something that takes place in the whole personality of man. This is the work of God in man. A life governed by new life placed within us. When Nicodemus heard from Jesus that he must be born again, he was not angry about it. Instead he wanted to know it and asked more questions. Then he became a regenerated man, and we will examine ourselves and repent. God will regenerate. Amen.
