"Keep your souls by your patience" (Luke 21:19)

PATIENCE IS A TREASURE People who are patient have precious wealth in their lives. They will stay away from many unnecessary problems, confusions and pains in their life with patience. How many adversaries are against our soul! An important one is impatience. It spoils many of the benefits of good peace. How quickly it spoils the peace of your soul, and not to mention the peace of others!

Guard your heart with all guard. The scriptures say that from it springs the fountain of life. Patience keeps our soul at peace. We must guard our souls with calmness and patience in trials. Temptation can cause the soul to retreat. (Luke 8:13) But those who are patient keep their souls from backsliding.

Be patient in tribulation (Romans 12:12) Do not be dismayed in tribulation. Depend on God. God will deliver us. I waited patiently for the Lord; He leaned towards me and heard my call. (Psalm 40:1) God looks to the patient people. Therefore, if you wait patiently, God will listen to the prayer you pray and send a suitable answer. Let us pray for our patience. God will give us patience. Amen.
