Ephesians 1:4.  "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight." 

God chose us to be His children long before this world was created. If he had not chosen us we would have been stone-hearted people. We would have even refused to accept the gospel of God or salvation. Thus walking towards hell. 

Because nothing but His grace can transform us into the children of God.  

Today if others are accepting Jesus Christ, it is because of the touch of the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ and the plan and guidance of the Heavenly Father. 

It is through the human pastors or evangelists or an ordinary believer, that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are revealed.  Men who obey God are used as the instruments of God to teach His word to those who do not know Him.  But it is Holy Spirit who works in the minds of those unbelievers. 

If so, we must think and be thankful for the great grace that we are experiencing because God has choosen us.  We must continue to give thanks to God for he has showed us who God is, by giving  Jesus Christ as a sacrifice, saved us from sin, and also showed us the way to heaven.
