"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."  [Matthew 5: 7].  

Our God, who is rich in mercy, has redeemed us, who died in our sins, by his own blood, and made us his own children.  We should realize this, show compassion to others.  As Christians and as we feel the love of Christ, we must be compassionate to others. 

 It is also said that he who pities the poor lends to the Lord.  God shows mercy to us when we show mercy to others. 

Scripture says to invite the poor, the lame, the blind when you feast.  Then you will be blessed;  Because they will not answer you;  Jesus Christ taught us that you will be answered in the resurrection of the righteous. 

Scripture says that he who does not show mercy will receive a merciless judgment;  Mercy is exalted before judgment  [James: 2: 13].   We will show mercy to others and we too will be free to have the mercy of God.  Amen.
