I am small and neglected; Yet will I forget thy commandments (Psalm 119:141)
Some people endure even a small tribulation and do not overcome it because of their faith in God. What is the use of me following God? Such hardships for himself. I don't go to church anymore. I will not pray. I will not read the Vedas. I do not want the union of God's children. I will look my way. How easy it is to trivialize the things of God; They are careless.
See how beautifully the psalmist says it here. Yes, I am small and insignificant in the eyes of others. No one respects me. There are many people who think of me as an idiot. Not only that, I am being ignored by everyone. Others ignore me. Nobody likes me.
God will lift up in due time. He is not like men. He lifteth up the small from the dust: he lifteth up the humble from the dust (Ps 113:7) He taketh the humble from the small, and setteth him in the high place, and maketh the families like flocks. (Ps 107:41) Let us pray faithfully holding on to these promises. God will surely do great things in our lives. Amen.
