Every person has things they believe in, situations they want to see and dreams God has in their hearts. But sometimes, we try to figure out how this happens. If we are not careful, we will try to control it and start telling the Lord how to do it, when to do it, and where to do it! Today's scripture tells us that God's ways are not our ways. They are the highest and the best.

The way of the Lord is high and good Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Instead of getting discouraged when things in our lives are not going our way, we should believe that God has something better. Just because it didn't happen, doesn't mean it won't happen. Remember that God has a plan. He figured it all out. Don't control him by trying to do it our way.

When we trust God today, tell Him our plans, dreams and desires for the future and wait for God's will and do things, they will be truly better and higher. Praise be to God who completes everything for us. Amen.
