"A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;" (Isaiah 42:3)
Look at how much hope this verse gives us. In this world, tired and weak people are not welcomed. But how different is the way God works.
I am a choked reed. I am unable to go through the midst of all the struggles of this world. I get so tired and stumbled upon even in the smallest test. As a hopeless man, I live helplessly to resist evil. Yet God says He will not break me and let me down.
I am not a brightly burning thread, but a dimly burning thread. How less is the light that's in me. Sometimes I find myself to be just emitting some smoke. Yet my God hugs me and says he will not leave me be alone. When he has said so, why should I be afraid?
The God who called me is mighty. He will save me to the fullest extent possible according to His will. Thankyou Jesus. Amen.
