Psalm 127: 3.   "Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him."  

The hand of the Lord creates a man for a purpose.  What is his purpose?  Creating God-fearing people  (Malachi 2:15)  

Children are given by the grace of the Lord.  Therefore we should thank the Lord every day that they are gifts given by the Lord, without seeing them as a burden, regardless of whether the child is a girl or a boy.  Parents must strive to lead their Children into salvation by living an example life. 

Perhaps the Lord is able to change even if there is any short coming in the lives of our children. In Matthew  15: 22-28  when a Canaanite woman faithfully asked Jesus Christ to save her daughter, Jesus delivered her from the clutches of the devil.  When we pray more for children and teach them the word of God and help them walk in the Lord, the peace of children will be abundant for us. 

Without neglecting the lives of our children given as a gift by the Lord, let us strive to fulfill the purpose of God (God-fearing offspring).  Children in the Lord are a great blessing to parents.  Amen.
