The Verse for the Day Psalms 118:5  "I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place." 

The Word for The Day Continually in our lives we come upon times of straitness our way is hedged up; it is as if we were in a narrow gorge, full of fears lest the overhanging rocks should fall on us, and seeing no way out. being shut up .All these things are against us. Human wisdom, energy, and persistency alike are baffled and beaten back. "We cannot do the things that we would." Every one and everything seems to be against us. Forsaken by all or no one willing to help. And at such times we easily think hard things of our fellow-men, and think that they are actively against us, when they are only indifferent. 

 It is our duty to ourselves to rise up, fall upon your knees, raise your hands and eyes to heaven, and present thy distress before God with tears . The Doors of Heaven are opened for you, he sees your pains, tears and your difficult situations.

 God has prepared a "Large Place" for you. The tears are going to be wiped away. You will pass out of distress to a well watered place of delight, where you'll walk at large, free from obstruction and oppression. He will set your feet on the large , open and enlarged place, where you supposed to be. You'll stand , not stumble or fall. 

 Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for looking at our distress and answering our cries. And bringing us to a Large Place prepared by you for us . Thank you for setting our feet on the enlarged place. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen And Amen.
