Song of Song 8:1

'Ah, if you were like my brother who drank my mother's milk, I would meet you outside and kiss you; They will not reproach me.”

"Ah, if you were like my brother who drank from my mother's milk," the church (my) is the bride, and Jesus Christ (you) are spiritual brothers and sisters and the bride of Christ. But the question that arises for the bride in this verse is that if you are like my brother who drank from my mother's milk, that is, we should not have been born brothers of Jesus Christ. That is, as it is said in Mark 6:3, they question whether we should not have been like James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon, who were the brothers who were born with Jesus. And the whole of Israel will be the brothers of Jesus in this system. The church is not the siblings of Jesus Christ, but spiritual brothers (Mark 3:35). This is what the Manavati Christians say.

'I will meet you outside and kiss you;;' A kiss signifies love (Luke 7:45-47, Luke 15:20, 1 Peter 5:14). Represents the union of love with Jesus. Kissing is union with Jesus Christ. Psalm 2:12 tells us to kiss the Son so that he will not be angry and you will not perish in the way. It means showing brotherly love.

"They will not reproach me" The church says here that because we have accepted Jesus Christ in the world we live in today, we are condemned by the people around us and others. As it is said in Matthew 5: 11, "Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and speak falsely against you with many evil tongues." The scriptures show us that the bride church has some songs in this world.

Let us rejoice that we are his bride. The reproaches of men and their views are not important. Christ's vision is what matters to us. Because in Christ's reign He has promised us that He will take away our reproaches. In Isaiah 25:8, 'He will swallow up death; The Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and completely remove the reproach of his people as it is not on earth; The Lord himself said this.” Let us be firm in the word of the Lord and rejoice.

Are you sure you belong to Christ?
