"Thy throat is like good wine, which makes my nose slow to drink, and makes the lips of those who sleep speak."
The vocal cords are located in the throat. When the Lord's word, song, and prayer that comes from your throat is filled by Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the eyes of other people are opened. In Acts 16:14 it is said that the Lord opened the heart of a woman to listen to what Paul said.
Thus through those who speak the words of the Lord, the lips of those who sleep will speak. It means that even those who are dutifully Christians without any activities in the church, are touched by the word of the Lord and become proclaimers of the Lord's name. As Isaiah's lips were touched in verse 6:7, 8, he dedicated himself to proclaim the word of God to the people of Israel. Likewise, in Eze 3:3-4, the Lord tells them to eat the scroll, then in verse 4, he says speak to them with my words.
The word of the Lord is a living word, it never returns; When this word comes from within us and through our mouth, Jesus Christ says, it awakens even those who sleep. That is, it is something that manifests the awakening that we are talking about today.
Similarly here the throat is compared to good wine. The good wine reveals the miracle, power, and work of Jesus Christ (John 2:10). Jesus Christ turned water into wine at the marriage house of Kanavur. Then you will see people saying that you give good wine at the end. What this verse is saying is that the miracle, the power, the work of Christ is done through the words of the mouth that come from the throat of the church.
Is your mouth (throat) used by Christ?
