the people; Seeing and hearing abandoned Christians
'Rupavati among women! What makes your Neser special than other Neser? Why is your Nesar so special over other Nesars that you can judge us like this?”
Israelites; Jesus Christ was seen as a prophet in those days. In Matthew 16:13-16, Jesus Christ asks his disciples who people say that I am. The disciples say that some say John, Elijah and Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. So this question arises among the Israelites.
'What makes your Neser special over other Neser?' That is, we have Abraham, Moses, David and many more prophets: why can you say that the Jesus Christ you are looking for is more special than these? Even when you don't see him, you are looking for him so longingly, you are looking for someone whom we don't see and you are asking us about him, so why is he special? Can we find out? This is the question that the Israelites ask themselves to know when they look at the forsaken church and answer with surprise and eagerness.
Are you convinced that Christ is your Savior?
