"The watchman wandering in the city saw me, beat me, and wounded me;; The guard of the robes took my blanket from me.”
This will take place during the reign of the Antichrist. "The watchman who roams the city" refers to the Antichrist's men. This verse refers to the Antichrist's army beating and torturing any unbranded Christians. In Revelation 13:7 "authority was given to him not only to make war with the saints and to overcome them, but also over every tribe and tongue and nation." That's what the scriptures say. Also in Luke 12:45-48 it is said that 'the servant who knew his master's will and was not ready and did not do according to his will will be beaten with many stripes'.
At that time, the Guards of Honor take up the mantle of the congregation. Here the 'cloth' refers to clothing and also to a sign and value of the congregation. In Eze 23:26, 16:39, "They will strip your clothes and take away your beautiful ornaments." As it indicates, here the identity of the church will be taken away by the army of the Antichrist.
The people who turned away from the Lord were given to their enemies. Here, even though they are Christians, they will be given over to the guards of the enemy, the Antichrist, because they are abandoned in coming without proper union with Jesus Christ. The church will have an identity and value until the dispensation. Christians have Christ; No one can do anything without God's will; But in the time of the Antichrist, the identity of those who belong to Christ is lost and they feel a situation of insecurity. Therefore, do not face this situation, repent, the kingdom of heaven is near.
Are you sure that this situation will not come to you?
