Song of Song 5:3

"I have taken off my clothes; How can I put it back on, washed my feet, how can I make them dirty again.”

The bride of Christ is called to leave her comforts, to hate herself, to suffer for Christ, and to carry the cross. But here the church referred to in this verse is seen to be retreating from its spiritual condition, tired of serving, and with a question, how shall I write again?

'I took off my clothes;; How can I put it back on?'' It refers to those who have turned away from Jesus Christ (Revelation 2:4). Many Christians today are seen as backsliders, not outwardly, but inwardly. This is a question that some who have experienced this blessing ask themselves how can I get it again (Ps 51:12).

'I have washed my feet, how can I make them dirty again'? Here we see that the feet refer to the ministry of the gospel in Romans 10:15, Isaiah 52:7. Walking, walking and getting feet dirty for the Lord's service and preaching the gospel. It has now been washed away. That is, when we roam the forest ridge, don't we get dirt on our feet? That is what is mentioned here. Now we do not go to ministry, it is because we have stopped all such ministries; Feet are clean. There is a group of people asking me how my feet are strained and dirty so that I can do the Lord's work again.

Beloved ones! Those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and who have lived zealously for him, if you have retreated today, join him again;. He is eager to give back his garment. Similarly, those who ran zealously for the ministry in the early days and were eager to somehow announce the gospel, if the speed of the ministry sometimes slows down as the days go by, get ready to run again. The Lord will give you strength for it; Because he is the one who sends you. Then the Lord looked at him and said: Go with this strength that you have: you will save Israel from the hand of the rest of the Midianites. He said, "Am I not the one who sends you?" (Judg. 6 : 14), receive the word of the Lord and minister boldly.

How are your clothes and feet today?
