Song of Song 5:2

Song of Song 5:2-4 (The verses refer to Jesus' anxiety.)

'I slept, and my heart was awake; I heard the voice of my Nesser knocking on the door: My sister! My love! My dove! My best friend! open the door; He said, "My head is wet with snow and my hair is wet with the night rain."

The bride says, 'I have fallen asleep' - what this means is that the Christians in the congregation are spiritually asleep. Today we see revival being talked about in Christian meetings and churches everywhere. That is, they are asleep in the spiritual life;; It means to wake them up. The congregation says that is what I am doing here. When it is said to sleep, it refers to the fact that believers are passive Christians and do nothing.

Jesus Christ told him to preach his gospel to the whole world. He said, "Blessed is the man who meditates on His scriptures day and night" (Psalm 1:2). Scripture tells us to pray without ceasing. The Bible refers to those who do not do all these things as Christians who are sleeping. We must always be alert to the word of the Lord; Otherwise, false teachings will come into our lives. Jesus Christ looks at the church and tells him to stay awake, but the church says today I am sleeping.

'My heart also awaked' This is the true condition of Christians today. Christians have a desire to pray; But cannot pray. Some people have a desire to read the scriptures; But can't read. That's what the church says, the heart is awake; But we see that I am sleeping in Matthew 26:41. I long to read the scriptures and pray; But we see that the congregation accepts its position that I am sleeping without doing it. The reason for this is that in our daily life, we give more importance to worldly things every day. Many Christians are not ignoring Jesus, but they are unaware that they are ignoring Him because of their sleep.

"I heard my neighbor knocking at the door" Jesus Christ, who was ignored by some Christians, is today standing outside the door and knocking. 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he will dine with me.” We see in Revelation 3:20. It seems to many that Christ is not in my life: He is standing outside and knocking, but they do not want to open the door, because the lusts of the world are before them. I have sent forth Jesus Christ. But knowing that He is knocking on the door of my heart, some people do not realize it and do not open it; There are If any of you who are reading this are unfeeling Christians, if Jesus Christ is standing outside your life knocking on the door, please repent today and put Him first in your life. No period. We are living in the last hour, in a dangerous and dangerous world, let's remember what Matthew 2:3 says, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand'.

My sister! My love! My dove! My best friend! To the door” O my sister who is redeemed by me and within my garden! My love! My dove! My righteousness, justified by me! This is the voice of Jesus Christ saying from outside to open the door for me. Even after being ignored by some Christians in the congregation, Jesus Christ calls out with open arms and love, still speaking loving words, I love you even in this situation.

He said, "My head is wet with snow, and my hair with the dew of the night." Here Christ speaks of being neglected (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus says, I who should dwell in your heart, cast out by you and stand wet in snow and rain; In other words, he says to the congregation, "I am suffering to save you."

If anyone reading this is a dutiful, dutiful churchgoer, please change your mind today. Hear his cry in this verse! To those who today lock the door of hesitation to the Son of God who shed his blood for us, one day his door to heaven will be locked. We are warned in scripture that when the church is taken away they will be forsaken. Therefore, open the door for Jesus Christ to dwell in us, the temple.

Are you an awake Christian? Is the door of your heart open to Christ?
