Song of Song 5:1

Jesus Christ speaking about the church

My sister! My bride! I came into my garden, and gathered my whites and my sedges; I ate my honeycomb with my honey; I drank my wine with my milk. Friends! eat; Beloved! Drink, drink to your heart's content.”

My sister! My bride! That is what Jesus Christ calls the Christians. We have seen this in the previous chapter.

"I came into my garden" Here the garden signifies the soul; and the church also signifies unity; Both belong to Christ. Jesus Christ looking at the church and saying, "I" have come to my church; It refers to Christ's relationship with the church and the area where the church worships the Lord (Matthew 18:20). From this we learn that the church belongs to Jesus Christ; Not belonging to any servant or shepherd. Many people today say that this church belongs to me; But Jesus says I have come to my garden, my church. When Christ says that he is mine, he means that the church does not belong to men.

'I added my whites and my kandavarkas;' The white and the kanthavarka represent purity. Yath. In 30 : 34 - 37 - the Lord commanded Moses; And he commanded that it should be most holy, and that it should be a holy incense. Based on this, we see that the white cloth, the sackcloth, the prayer, and the worshiping with holy adornment (Psalm 29:2). Jesus Christ says, I have approved the prayer and worship that is done in my garden which is the church; All these are in my account; He says I have added it to myself.

'I ate my honeycomb with my honey;' To know that, remember an incident in the Vedas and meditate on this. In Luke 24:42, Jesus asked his disciples if they had anything to eat after his resurrection. His disciples gave him a piece of fried fish and a cloth of honey. We see that Jesus Christ, when he was in this world, ate honeydew cloth for his hunger.

In a spiritual sense the honey and the honeycomb refer to the Word of God. (Proverbs 16 : 24, Psalm 19 : 7-10) It is said that the word of the Lord is like honey, nourishing and blessing in the garden of the soul. We eat spiritual manna by having God's Word speak to us. Then the word of the Lord emerges from the mouth of Christians as a congregation, Jesus Christ reveals through this word.

"I drank my wine with my milk."

Here Jesus Christ is referring to the harvest that he gives, the time of grace that he has given us, the miracle that he is doing in this time, and the spiritual benefit that he has freely received as my wine.

In Amos 9:13, "The days will come, says the Lord, when the mountains will run down like wine, and all the hills will melt." This verse refers to the harvest that the bridegroom gives to the congregation. And in John 2:10, the first miracle that Jesus Christ performed was turning water into wine. He gave the good wine before, and when the people were satisfied, he gave the tasteless one, and you have kept the good wine until now." , in its spiritual sense, the New Testament dispensation of grace is far superior to the dispensation of the law. We are living in a good time to find Christ. And as this verse says, he is performing many miracles.

And he says he drank my milk too. Paul refers to the word of the Lord 1 Peter 2:3. He refers to the word of the Lord speaking to the whole world during this time of grace.

This prophetic word can be compared to the word of God in Isaiah 55:1. The Lord is calling his people to come and take wine and milk without money and without price. Here he says get free wine and milk. What does this mean in the church today? It refers to what Jesus Christ freely gives.

1. Salvation by grace (Romans 3:24)

2. Gifts, Fruits (Matthew 10:8)

3. Living Water (Revelation 22:17)

In this passage he reveals that he is satisfied with these spiritual benefits that the church has freely received from Christ.

'Friends! eat;; Beloved! Drink, drink to your heart's content.” The previous part of this verse speaks of the Bride who is strengthened in Christ and does His will, and thus the Bridegroom is satisfied. He says that he came to the garden and tasted and drank. John 4:34 says that His meal was the doing of the Father's will.

At the end of this verse, friends! Beloved! Manavati says looking at the unprepared people. (Mat 22 : 12) - He who has no wedding garment is called a friend;; It means that they are unprepared for marriage. Jesus Christ says, in my church there is worship, prayer, meditation on the word that pleases me. Thus many are blessed with fruitful lives. But some people are unable to receive this blessing that I give in the congregations and live a Christian life out of duty. They are Christians who have no heat, no cold, no sense, no fear of the Lord;; But Christians say;; Jesus Christ calls such Christians. My friend! Beloved! Come and eat the manna that I will give (John 6:51), and drink the living water that I will give (John 4:14).

Beloved ones! Jesus Christ still calls everyone with love. Even after Peter left Jesus, he went looking for him and asked, 'Do you have love in me?' He said (John 21:15). He also calls everyone in the congregation with love. He invites them to eat the water and bread he gives. Maybe if someone who has turned away from Jesus is reading this, or someone who doesn't know Jesus is reading this, will you listen to His voice today? We live in wonderful times. We are in a good time to find Him (Isaiah 55:6) Use the time.

Are you listening to His voice?
