"King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon."
The mighty glory that comes through Christ refers to His Word being carried throughout the world.
The tree of Lebanon refers to the cedar tree (Psalm 92:12). The cedar tree is strong (Psalm 29:5), glorious (Ezekiel 17:23).
Chariot refers to salvation (Habakkuk 3:8) and Solomon refers to Jesus Christ (as we have seen in previous verses). The Lebanon tree is popular because it symbolizes salvation, the word of the gospel that endures forever. And this is called the everlasting gospel. It will be announced to the people by Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ will rule the whole world for a thousand years with Jerusalem as his capital. In his reign, his word will be given to all the world. Jesus Christ and the army with him will successfully carry the gospel to the world. Conquering his enemies and bringing the world under the obedience of the gospel, Jesus Christ will reign over all peoples according to his plan in peace, holiness, comfort and security. The world, which was under Satan's rule for so many years, is now fully under the rule of Jesus Christ, and now it will be a time when people will fully receive the word of God and a time when people will taste the rule of Christ. This verse indicates that the word of the Lord will be established throughout the world as a chariot carries a king.
