In the same way, this passage refers to the crowning of Jesus Christ as the bridegroom as a disciple and to reign on this earth for a thousand years. A person can only be crowned king after a Jewish marriage. Likewise the marriage of the Lamb is over and he is crowned king. That is what this verse refers to.
