Song of Song 2:17

My friend! Until the day cools and the shadow fades, and the water returns, like a deer leaping on the cleft and cleft rocks, and like the fawn of the mares.”

“My friend! The congregation looks to Christ and says, "Until the day grows cold and the shadow fades." In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve heard the voice of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. The church is now in the garden in the midst of paradise (Revelation 2:7). As the Lord God spoke to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, this verse refers to Jesus Christ, the bridegroom, walking and talking with the church now in the midst of Paradise.

Jesus Christ will be with the bride church in the midst of paradise until the marriage day of the Lamb. At the same time he is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven. He will also be a doer of the Father's will. At the same time, he will be the one who fulfills the prophecies that have been spoken during the tribulation times. He has been compared to a deer and a young mare, making everything from here and there to heaven. Reindeer and foal of mares represent speed. Here is a beautiful picture of the speed with which Jesus Christ will accomplish all things.

May we have the privilege of walking in the garden with Christ.

Reference verse: Psalm 42:8
