Song of Song 2:14

'O my dove that dwells in the clefts of the rocks and in the hiding places of the peaks! Show me your face, let me hear your voice; He said, "Your voice is pleasant and your face is beautiful."

"O my dove, who dwells in the clefts of the rocks and in the hiding-places of the peaks!" - The rock is the usual place for the dove to nest or retire for protection (Jer 48 : 28), and the rock represents the Lord Jesus Christ. Sikaram is related to Kanmalai meaning the peak of a mountain. For so many days, in the midst of much suffering and hardship, serving for Christ, depending on Christ, living as a witness for Christ, and now looking at the church that went to the Bridegroom Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is saying, Christ has freed the church from all suffering (2Cor 5:2,4), from all oppression (Rev. 3:10), liberates from intimacy and frees the soul of man from the grip of death and the grip of sin (1Cor 15:51-66). The church, the bride freed from worldly life, stands before Jesus Christ as holy and righteous people.

Now Jesus Christ looks at the congregation and says 'Show me your face and let me hear your voice; He said, "Your voice is pleasant and your face is beautiful." Our noise pleases Him. We are made beautiful as we are remade like Him. That we may receive this great blessing, we are changed like Him (1 John 3:2). Let us devote ourselves to this sublime experience and live holy lives in Christ.

This is the event that takes place when the church is taken over. Through this we can see how much love the Lord Jesus Christ has for us today. Even today He longs to hear our voice. And knowing that we fully show our face and He longs to see our face, let us lift up our voice to Him today. Let us show our face fully to him and not to the world.

Do we have faith that all our sins will disappear and we will be glorified by Christ?
