Nesting sparrows

* SPARROWS! -Many different birds are given the name sparrow in the Bible.

They feed on grains and insects.

The psalmist says, I am like a sparrow on the house without sleep (Psalm 102:7).

God is the helper for those who are lonely!

Nesting sparrows always stay with their species.

A lonely sparrow is said to be a symbol of loneliness and sorrow.

There is God to correct and consider regrets!

Nesting sparrows diligently build their nests on houses.

The sparrow has a home among the altars of the Lord, and the sparrow has a nest to lay her young (Psalm 84:3).

 Jesus is our greatest refuge!

At the time of Jesus Christ, sparrows were sold at very low prices.

They sold two caged sparrows for a penny (Matthew 10:29; Luke 12:6).

This bird is a sign for the simple! The poor, who could not afford to sacrifice sheep and goats, bought Adakkalan sparrows and Taghaivilan sparrows and offered them as sacrifices.

The cost of sparrows and sparrows were kept very low in the church to help the poor.

Even in Old Testament times the poor offered sparrows as an offering to the church.

In the oath concerning the cleansing of the leper in the time of Moses

Adhikalan is said about the sparrow.

On the day of the leper's purification, the vow to him is: He must be brought to the priest. The priest went outside the camp; If he finds that the leprosy of the leper is cured, he should order two live clean sparrows, cedar wood, red thread, and hyssop to be procured for the person to be cleansed.

Then the priest shall kill one of the sparrows in an earthen bowl, and take a live sparrow, a cedar stick, and a red thread, and dip these and the live sparrow in the blood of the slain sparrow in the spring water, and sprinkle him seven times over the one who is cleansed of leprosy, and let him go outside (Lev. 14:1 -7 )

The Lord also takes care of the nesting sparrows.

Cats, hawks and a few boys prey on nesting sparrows.

Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without the Lord's will (Mat 10:29).

The Lord who takes care of the nesting sparrows is more sure to take care of us too!

Therefore, let us not be afraid! Because we are more special than most house sparrows! (Matthew 10:31; Luke 12:7) Amen!
