1 Samuel 15:23. He said, "Fornication is like the sin of witchcraft, and adultery is like ungodliness and idolatry; because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you from being king."

 Three things are said in this verse.

 1) Divorce (rebellion)

 Today there are many Christians who are rebelling in churches, homes, and workplaces. The scriptures compare such acts to the sin of philisinia. We should be peacemakers rather than bring a problem to congregations or workplaces.

 2) Bullying

 Such actions are common today. But the Vedas compare the practice of adultery to idolatry.

 3) Ignoring God's Word

 Because Saul disobeyed the word of the Lord, he was rejected by the Lord from the position of king. If a person disobeys the word of the Lord, he should realize that the Lord ignores him.

 This is the warning given to Saul in scripture. If we also realize this and have such things in us, we should be freed from it by the grace of God. Let's live a life that pleases God. Amen.
