GLORY

Psalm, 113: 4 . The Lord is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.

Glory is beauty, power, or virtue. This is the image of God. The word of glory expresses the power and glory of God.

In the Bible, the word glory is used to show three different perspectives. Their details are as follows:

 1. The beauty and perfection in the righteousness of God. Many of God's mighty ways are not understandable by the small human minds. This divine nature of God cannot be understood by the knowledge of man. All people are without God.  (Romans 3:23).

 2. God has manifested His perfectness in the way that men see, so that he can understand. ** He saved the children of Israel at the Red Sea  (Exodus 14) ,** The glory of God is in the tabernacle  (Lev 9: 23-24). ** Also present in the church  (1 Kings 8:11).

The glory of God after the Old Testament was in Jesus Christ  (Luke 9: 29-32; John 2.11),  and in His church. His glory has also been expressed and seen in members and believer's of Christ. As it is mentioned in ( John 17: 5-6,22),  Heavenly Father's Glory was given to Jesus Christ when he was in the earth, who intern gave it to his believers before leaving the world.

3. Praise. Creatures of the world including human beings should glorify God, which means Praise Him. (Ps 115: 1; Rev. 5: 12-13).

What does God's glorification mean? Glorifying God means praising the name of God by obeying and honoring His commandments.  (Ps. 86:12) . Jesus glorifies His Father by obeying His Father's will and dying on the cross for us.  (John 17: 1)

May we also glorify the Lord God, like our Lord Jesus !!! Amen!
