Christ is life to me, and death is gain (Phil 1:21). A Christian who has Christ as his hope need not fear anything in this world. Even death is a loss to him, not a gain. Because when his life ends in this world, he has nothing to lose unless he enters into a life of greater glory. That is why Paul says in Philippians 1:20 - I will not be ashamed of anything, but now, as always, with great courage, in life and in death, according to the desire and hope that I have that Christ will be glorified in my body, so it can be.

Our main task is to buy Christ for us so that we may be glorified with Him. That is why Paul says in Colossians 3:4 that when Christ our life is revealed, you will also be revealed with him in glory.

So there is no need to be crushed by the things of this world. We must never allow the things of this world into our lives to destroy our souls and unfruitful things. Let us be sure that the Lord will surely be a supporter in our lives and give us eternal life. Amen.
