Admitting a mistake

2 Samuel 12:13. "Then David said to Nathan: I have sinned against the Lord."

When someone points out our mistake, do we see him as an enemy? Or is he wrong in the number? Or are we giving some other reasons to cover up the mistake? It is very good to explore that.

Eve blamed Satan for eating the forbidden fruit. why did you eat When Adam asked that, he blamed Eve. No one directly admits they were wrong. The Lord sees it as a serious mistake to not realize and accept the wrong we have done.

David's error was pointed out by the prophet Nathan. He did not try to give other reasons for it. He accepted that I had sinned and repented. So he got God's grace again. Let us report our shortcomings before God and receive God's grace. Amen.
